I bought this for my 15 month old because we had plans for the beach. I wanted her to enjoy herself, but get as little sun exposure as possible. I still diligently applied sunblock, but felt much more confident that she was protected with the Baby Banz Swimsuit. It worked great! No sunburn. There’s also a zipper across the bottom for easy diaper changes.

Great swimsuit. Covers to the elbows and knees. Dries quickly. We love it!

Good, well-made jammers. True to size! Unfortunately, I listened to comments about other speedo jammers that all advised to get 2 sizes up. I am between 34 and 36 and went for size 38. They were definitely too big once wet. So I ended up switching to 34 which feel a bit tight at the bottom above the knee when they are dry, but feel perfect in the water.

Based on other reviews, I was expecting these to fit a bit differently than “regular” jammers, and that is the case. At first, I thought they felt a bit confining, but after entering the pool, I either forgot about that, or the feeling went away, or the suit relaxed a bit. Either way, it fits just right now. I ordered my usual jeans waist size, and the sizing is right on.

There’s not quite as much stretch, but that makes these feel more durable and substantial. My guess is that since there’s no Spandex in either the outside or inner fabric, there won’t be the degradation that was characteristic of a regular suit. This one’s all polyester. I’ve only used them for 5 or 6 lap swims, so I can’t speak to the “endurance” just yet, but so far, so good.

There’s nothing wrong with these, they work great and I can definitely feel the difference, but just make sure you get the right size. I have larger legs than a normal guy my size because I play soccer and strength train my legs so when I got size 32 I had a real hard time even pulling them up and my legs were dying (i wear 32 in everything else). When I got 34s they worked beautifully and i love them.

I am a daily swimmer in a chlorinated pool. I am middle aged and did not want very small trunks. Problems with previous suits included colors fading, elastic becoming brittle, and trunks that do not fit my legs tightly so they slow my swim.

These trunks overcome all of those problems. They fit perfectly (I ordered one size larger than my normal). They do not fade (I rinse them in cold water after each swim). They have a good amount of stretch and allow me to easily bend for flip turns and to get in and out of the pool.

Great suit! Exactly what I needed!

I am not a life-long, expert swimmer. However, about a year ago, I decided to take swimming more seriously, and bought my first “jammer” style swimsuit, also by speedo. I replaced that suit with this one last month.

This suit definately seems more “robust” – the material the suit is made of seems tougher and more substantial. It’s also less stretchy, and I think that’s what is causing problems for people used to stretchier suits. I would say this suit is less forgiving? My previous suit was a 36 (as was this one), and this one felt snugger. But what I think was really happening was that it just didn’t stretch as much.

What does this all mean? I really like this suit, and I have a feeling it’s going to last a lot longer than my previous Speedo jammers, which is, I think, the point of this particular model. On the other hand, it’s definately less stretchy, especially through the waist and leg openings, which may or may not create problems. My legs are pretty chunky (high school and college rowing), but I was able to fit in the same size that I wear for everyting else.
